She was predeceased by: her spouse Riddick David Thomas, Sr.; and her parents, Axel Nelson and Hattie Gherke Nelson. She is survived by: her children, David Thomas, Jr. (Sharon) of Walterboro, Wesley Thomas of Ruffin, Allen Thomas (Jeanette) of Islandton, Nelson Thomas of Walterboro, Ricky Thomas (Donna) of Navarre, Kenny Thomas (Donna) of Ruffin, Gail Thomas of Wilmington and Ann Thomas-Hauser of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and her sister Faye Gallagher of South Dakota. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
