It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Iona Sheppard Herndon of Ruffin, South Carolina, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph "Frank" Francis Sheppard and Winnie Ethel Exley Sheppard. She is survived by: her great-nephew Josh; her cousin Karen; her husband Larry Parks Herndon; her siblings, Joseph "Joe" Wesley Sheppard, Sr. (Ann) of Cohutta, Georgia and Janice Moody (Danny) of Rincon, Georgia; her great-nephew Joshua Jones of Ruffin; and her close friend Karen D. Parrott of Walterboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be directed in her memory to: Tabor United Methodist Church, care of Gary Herndon, 8743 Bells Highway, Ruffin, South Carolina 29475.
