He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar Bailey, Sr. and Mary Phillips Bailey; and his siblings, Harold Bailey, Richard Bailey, Gene Bailey, Jack Bailey and Ann Blackmon.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Deese Bailey; his children, Phillip Bailey (Deborah) of Lancaster, Sandy McAteer (Rickey) of Mt. Pleasant and Joni Steranka (Jim) of Lancaster; his brother Robert "Slick" Bailey; his grandchildren, Jennifer Blackmon (Samuel), Alison Williams (Chris), Kristen Applewhite (Eric), Corey Steranka, Ryan Bailey (Jeania) and Matthew Bailey (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Landon, Tanner Blackmon, Liam Applewhite and Mia Bailey. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and followed the granddaughters.
