She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Kimbrell and Wilma Champion Millwood; her brother Marshall Kimbrell; and her grandmother Gazelle Champion. She is survived by: her spouse Jerry Elder; and her half-brother Gary Millwood (Joyce).
