With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jesse Thomas Helms Jr. (Ruby, South Carolina), who passed away on August 6, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Thomas Helms, Sr. and Minnie Marze Helms; his former wife Barbara Helms; and his siblings, James Helms and Virginia Hovis.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Helms; his children, Timothy Eric Threatt (Jenni) of Fort Mill, SC and Sheila Threatt Finkel (James) of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Joshua, Katherine, Carla and Noah; and his sisters, Lois Belk, Peggy Shoemaker, Kallie Hatchell and Phyllis Parker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
