It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Rickenbaker of Rowesville, South Carolina, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion W. Rickenbaker and Mary Davis Rickenbaker; his stepfather Pete Kesson; his wife Louella "Tudy" Rickenbaker; his brothers, William P. "Billy" Rickenbaker and Miller "Bobby" Rickenbaker; and his half-brother Franklin Davis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Rickenbaker Bacot of Rowesville and Brenda Rickenbaker Brewer of Lexington; his granddaughters, Wendy Bacot Craven (Jerry) of Cordova and Samantha Bacot of Rowesville; his great grandchild Jay Hardy; his sisters, Kristen of Cordova, Laurel Hardy of Cordova and Ann Thompson Cumbee of Mt. Pleasant; and his half-brother Roy K. Kesson of Rowesville.
