He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Kenneth Mims, Sr. and Vernell Cooper Mims of Holly Hill; and his sister Gail Mims Albergotti Osborne. He is survived by: his wife Eladia R. Mims; his children, Harold Kenneth Mims, III of Orangeburg and Jane Mims Massenburg (Paul) of Santee; his granddaughters, Julia Elise Massenburg and Myra Eladia Massenburg; his great grandchild Ephraim Isaac Massenburg; his niece Melissa Dawn Albergotti; his nephew Ken Albergotti; and his great-niece Virginia Mims Stewart.
