He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton L. Cherry, Sr. and Ethel B. O'Cain Cherry; his sister Betty Jean; his brother-in-law Bobby Arant, Sr.; his brother Jack "Jackie" Cherry; and his daughters, Kim Spigner and Tracy Herring.
He is survived by: his brother Benton L. "B. L."; his granddaughters, Benna Spigner and Shelby Griffeth; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Cherry.
