She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Davis, Sr. and Maggie Crumpton Davis; her husband Robert Hardy, Sr.; her daughter Carolyn Ruth Hardy Williams; her siblings, Thelma Jones, Sallie Rice, Margie Brown, Bessie Ferguson, Janie Clowney, James Albert, Rosevelt, Clarence Henry, Willie, Jr. and Davis; her grandson Tavares Moss; and her son-in-law Edwin Fred Thompson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hardy, Jr. (Erma) of Anniston and Sharon Yvonne Hardy Thompson of Spartanburg; her sisters, Rubye (Robert Smith) of Spartanburg, Genovia Dawkins (Charles) of Spartanburg and Francis Griffin of Spartanburg; her grandchildren, Crystal Moss, Terrica Montgomery (Alan), Roderick Hardy (Chrisshonda), Diamond Thompson and Zachary Thompson, Sr. (Fernanda); her great grandchildren, Hannah Montgomery, Leah Montgomery, Jaylan Moss, Anijah Hardy, Zachary Thompson, Jr. and Eliana Thompson; and her close friend Lori Bethel.
