With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Jennings of Roebuck, South Carolina, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Diaz Allen Jennings and Leila Beatrice Stephens; his wife Anita Marlowe Jennings; his siblings, Thad, Carl, Leonard, Lawrence, Bobby Jennings, Sue Bridges, Thelma Ashe and Jewel Browder; and his grandson-in-law Allan Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, William Russell "Buddy" Jennings (Anne) and Larry Allen Jennings (Margaret); his grandchildren, Tracy Anderson Riley (Brad), Tripp Jennings (Dawn), Kylee Newkirk (Duncan), Matthew Jennings and April Barnado Wheless (Lee); his great grandchildren, Alayna Garrison (Kirk), Mac Anderson, Aiden, TJ Jennings, Charlotte, Hunter, Lillian Newkirk, Logan, Fallon Jennings, Cecily, Connor Wheless and Skylar Riley; his brother David A. Jennings (Loretta) of Charleston; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Jennings of Texas, Linda Marlowe and Delores Marlowe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
