He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wayne and Laura Cockerham Eaton; his son Michael Leigh Eaton II; and his siblings, Ralph Wayne Eaton, Deborah Eaton Norris and Denise Eaton Frost.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnson Eaton; his children, Jonathan Marcy of Roebuck, SC, Christopher (Jennifer) of Concord, N. C., Bradford Marcy (Deva) of Spartanburg, S. C. and Lorrie Gray of Florida; his siblings, Jimmy Eaton of Missouri and Diane Bullard (Tony) of Sanford, N. C.; his daughter-in-law Michelle Eaton of Florida; his siblings-in-law, Ricky Johnson (Denise) of Easley, S. C. and Sharon Eaton of Fayetteville, N. C.; and his pets, Bambi and Kiki. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
