She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas C. Layton; her parents, Horace Hugh and Nora Stroud Walker; her sons, Rickie Layton and Ray Layton; and her sisters, Wilma Waldrep and Deview Manly.
She is survived by: her son Randy Layton (Elaine); and her daughters-in-law, Suzanna Layton and Brenda Layton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
