It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Hendley (Roebuck, South Carolina), who passed away on December 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karen may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Ray Hendley and Ila Beatrice Slagle Hendley. She is survived by: her sister Lynn Teague (David); her niece Amber Travis; and her great-nephew Andrew Travis.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Unity Baptist Church (4240 Walnut Grove Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376).
