He was predeceased by: his parents, Angeline Masso (Ann) and James Lovett McNamara; and his former wife Janet Yurccyk McNamara. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Smith; his stepson Daniel Mock (Lori); his grandchildren, Jordan, Destiny and David (Janna); his great grandchild Penelope; his sister-in-law Patty Youngblood (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Michele Griffin (Mitchell), Angela McNamara, Oakley (Heather), Robert (Caroline), Georgia, Bailey, Everett and Charlie; his brother James McNamara; his uncle Arthur Masso (Jennette); and his baby Jesse.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home (690 Southport Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Many will miss him; in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Rotary Club of North Spartanburg (PO Box 3423 Spartanburg SC 29304) or StandUpToCancer.org. in memory of John McNamara.
