Though Jessie Mae may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Monroe and Ollie Coleman Petty; her husband George William Tolleson, Sr. (Bill); her son George William Tolleson, Jr. (Butch); her daughter-in-law Imogene K. Tolleson; and her grandson Daniel Shane Goen.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Tolleson, Lynn Tolleson and Keith Tolleson (Gaye); and her sister Barbara Swofford (Billy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Roebuck Baptist Church (1979 E Blackstock Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (1300 Fernwood Glendale Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307).
