With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hermie Davis Coley (Roebuck, South Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Fred Clinton Coley; her parents, Isabel Gibson and Harvey Davis; her daughter Jennifer Johnson; and her siblings, Bill Davis, J. D. Davis, Bonnie Vess, Lillian Mullinax, Frances Ratchford and Inez Hamm.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis C. Fox (Tim) of Spartanburg, SC and Fred Coley (Karla) of Montgomery; her grandchildren, James Coley (Shannen), Clint Coley, Amy Stepp (Dennis), Kimberly Johnson and Leah Pangel (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Emma Stepp, Michael Stepp, Natalie Stepp, Lainey Pangel and Haston Pangel.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the J. M. Dunbar Funeral Home (690 Southport Rd, Roebuck, SC 29376). Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Hermie can be made to the Upstate Community Hospice House, 260 Fairwinds Dr. Landrum, SC 29356.
