He was predeceased by: his parents, Gifford Lanford Mason Sr. and Lois Selena Lancaster Mason; and his sister Brenda "Kay" Mason Littlejohn. He is survived by: his wife Linda "Dale" Rogers Mason; his children, Tammy Lynn Mason Laney (Darren Laney), Donna LaRae Mason Smith, Jessica LaRae Turner Helms (Zach Helms) and Gifford "Wayne" Mason (Lavern Mason); and his sister Patricia Ann Mason Lee.
