It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claire Regina Brophy Wallace (Roebuck, South Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Aloysius and Anne Snyder Brophy; her siblings, Thomas Brophy, Edward Brophy, Mark Brophy, Cecilia Ruppert, Nancy Jordan and Mary McQueen; and her son-in-law Jon Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Wallace; her children, Eileen Wallace, Jennifer Thomas, Stephanie Kladianos (Bob) and Grant Wallace (Jean); her grandchildren, Margaret Wallace, Bridget Wallace, Jane Thomas and Jasper Thomas; and her siblings, Gerard Brophy, Francis Brophy and Eileen Brown. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews.
A celebration of Claire's life will be held this summer and in lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Claire by spending time with your loved ones and lingering on the beach for an extra hour in the evening.
