He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blanchard and Alice Abernathy Blanchard; his wife Isabell Pruitt Blanchard; his children, Timothy Blanchard, Donna Jean Bryant and Crystal Austin; and his siblings, Beatrice Scruggs, Shirley Baronge, Oscar Blanchard and Calvin Blanchard.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Blanchard (Diane) of Roebuck and Tammy Kay Skeen (John) of Columbia; and his brother Tom Blanchard of Spartanburg.
