She was predeceased by: her parents, J. S. Atkins and Geraldine Cooper Atkins; and her husband Gary Thomas Atkins. She is survived by: her children, Martha Jolley (Tommy) of Roebuck, Becky Hoover (Mark) of Pauline and Darby Shelby of Chicago, Illinois; and her brother Richard Atkins of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
