She was predeceased by : her husband Alfred Benjamin Briggs; and her parents, Jim Gist and Lula Gist Lattimore. She is survived by : her daughters, Mary Hunter of Spartanburg, SC, Sarah Copeland of Spartanburg, SC, Rosa Smith of Spartanburg, SC and Mildred Brewton of Spartanburg, SC. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
