He is survived by: his wife Mary Milholen Carter; his son Stephen Vance Carter (Rena); his grandson Stephen (Caitlin); his son David Brian Carter (Kathi); his grandchild Jamie (Heather); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Hunter; his grandson David Brian Carter, Jr. (Amanda); his great grandchild Hayden; his daughter Lisa Carter Noecker (Jeff); his granddaughter Eliza; his son John Kenneth Carter (Sharon); his grandchildren, Caleb and Anna; and his caregiver Patsy Whitlock.
