He is survived by: his son Matthew Paul Plyler (Rock Hill); his sister Gail Plyler Mangum (Columbia); his nephew Shawn Robert Stinson (Jenny); his adoptive mother Doris Watkins (Rock Hill); and his sisters, Karen Watkins Moore (Rock Hill) and Beth Watkins Penland (McConnells). He is also survived by several great nephews and niece.
