He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lincoln Garner and Dorothy Sue Dotson Garner; and his siblings, Robert Thomas Garner and Jean Ling. He is survived by: his wife Robin Elizabeth Sullivan Garner; and his son George Alan Garner (Rina Allen).
