He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Grant and Inez Roach Grant; and his brother Gregg Grant. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hood Grant; his children, Carmen Grant Costner (Chris) of Rock Hill, Chad Wayne Grant (Edie) of Rock Hill and Crystal Grant Mead (Jack) of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Nic Mead (Allyson Hipsley), Noah Mead, Jackson Mead, Chelsea Brady (Trey Rogers), Caitlin Brady and Kayla Wallace (Clay); his great grandchildren, Lillian Mead, Nixon Mead, Greyson Mead, Cannon Mead, Camden Rogers, Mason Wallace and Rhett Wallace; and his siblings, Lillie Grant Auten and Ronald Grant (Nancy). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Grant's name to Cornerstone United Methodist Church, 2697 Heckle Blvd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
