The passing of Walter Dennis Hogue of Rock Hill, South Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 81. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jacob Hogue and Martha Smith Hogue; his in-laws, Arthur and Francis Watson; and his brothers, Andrew Jacob Hogue, Jr. and Warren Hogue (Loraine).
He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Watson Hogue; his daughter Ashley Denise LeMire (Mark) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandsons, Bradley Tomlinson Ross, Jr., Brenden Hogue Ross and Jacob O'Hearn Ross; his stepgrandchildren, Kendall Elizabeth LeMire and Cole Edward LeMire of Alpharetta, GA; and his sister Martha Lynn Hutto of Gent, WV. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel (232 Calhoun St, Charleston, SC 29401). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (604 Fort Johnson Rd, Charleston, SC 29412). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rock Hill Country Club (600 Country Club Dr, Rock Hill, SC 29730).
