He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sledge Brown; and his children, John "Rusty" Brown, Jr. of Rock Hill, Anne Shaver (Bud) of Rock Hill, Jerry William Brown (Jan) of Rock Hill and Jeffrey Warren Brown (Debbie) of Rock Hill.
