She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Clifton Carter and Gladys Bell Askew; her former husband Donald Edwin Gross; her grandfather Charles Richard Gellico Carter; her great-grandparents, Rufus Newdigate Askew and Andrew Jackson Daniel; her husband Colonel Don Gross; her children, Donald E. Gross, Jr. (Paula) of Dawsonville, Georgia, Charles A. Gross of Tega Cay and Karen G. Hodges (Kenny) of Fairburn, Georgia.; and her stepchildren, Stephen A. Stebbins (Nancy) of Houston, Texas, Gregory K. Stebbins (Jennifer) of Marina and Martha E. Stebbins (Robert) of Helena, Montana.. She was also cherished by her seven grand-children and twelve great grand-children.
