She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Johnson, Sr. and Eva Mae Twitty Johnson; and her siblings, Hugh Johnson, Jr., Doris Ross and Ann Price.
She is survived by: her children, Sonya Christine Gunter, Christopher Shawn Gunter (Colleen Moffett) and Sara Ann Boyd; her sister Sara Lynn Brock; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Johnson and Joe Dean Price; and her grandchildren, James Edward (Jamie), Stephanie Olivia, Christopher Brice, John Hayden and Kimber Elyson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
