We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2019, at the age of 80, Vera Jean Carpenter Holder (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Crossnore, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Jessie Carpenter and Bessie Murray Carpenter; her daughters, Vera, Verinda Ann Baxley (Ronnie) of York, SC and Carol Lynn Howell (Michael) of Rock Hill, SC; and her sisters, Geneva Taylor (Douglas) and Evelyn Root (Jim). She was also cherished by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
