She was predeceased by: her parents, James H Scott and Nannie Nix Scott; her former husband Paul Shaver; her husband Frank VanSeeters; her siblings, Judy Lucille Wells, Mary Barnes, Melvin Scott, Larry Scott and James Scott; and her grandsons, Steven Shaver, II and Bryant Earle.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Shaver (Denise) of York, SC, Steven Shaver (Debbie) of Garfield, NJ, Roy Shaver of Rock Hill, Nancy Williford (David) of Rock Hill, Kathleen Stone (Jimmy) of Rock Hill and Patricia Stajin (Robert) of Chester, SC; and her sister Diane Mathis (Carroll) of Sharon, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; her fur baby.
