He was predeceased by: his parents, Miles Thurmond Williams and Mary Alice Rogers. He is survived by: his sons, Tex J. Williams of Rock Hill, SC and Stanley L. Williams (Kathleen Shields-Williams) of Rock Hill, SC; his son-in-law Sidney Welch (Sheryle Williams); and his siblings, Linda Sue Ellington, Donna Renee Bowman and Richard Thurmond Williams. He is also survived by seventeen nieces and nephews.
