She was predeceased by: her father Albert M. Sherer, Jr.; and her brother Danny M. Sherer. She is survived by: her mother Helen K. Sherer; her son Jason Yarborough (Heather) of Rock Hill; and her sister Gloria Waldon (Scott) of Kenai, AK.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Woodhaven Baptist Church 2060 Marett Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
