He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Fred Gedney and Grace Gedney; his wife Linda Slate Boisseau; his children, Megan Hodges (Demetrios) of Rock Hill, Sara Gedney of Rock Hill, Matthew Gedney of Charlotte, NC, Jay Boisseau of Austin, TX and Andy Boisseau of Austin, TX; his grandchildren, George of Rock Hill, Vivia of Rock Hill, Stephen of Rock Hill, Isabella of Rock Hill, Lillianna Hodges of Rock Hill, Nova of Rock Hill, Penny Gedney of Rock Hill and Nicole Boisseau of Austin, TX; and his sisters, Susan Rogers (Wayne) of Kilmarnock, VA, Janet Steinruck of St Petersburg, FL, Anne Gedney of Hinton, WV and Sally Peachy (Donald) of Richmond, VA.
