He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Chitwood Oxendine; his grandson Jeff Strickland; his son-in-law Dwight Strickland; and his siblings, Mansfield, Margaret, Alemeta and Sarah.
He is survived by: his children, Timothy Oxendine of Columbia, Drennan Strickland of Georgia and Debbie Jackson of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Marcie Strickland, Stevette Broughton, Shayla Castro (Antonio) and Clint Oxendine; and his great grandchildren, Lauryn, Nik, Grayson, Jaid, Evan, Delilah, Adriana and Gracie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
