She was predeceased by: her husband Johnnie Franklin Turner; and her parents, Strawder Messer and Pearl Martin Messer. She is survived by: her children, Maxine T. McGhee (Wayne) of Great Falls, SC, Johnnie Turner II (Diane) of Lancaster, SC and Henry L. Turner; and her siblings, Robert of Gastonia, NC, Donnie of Gastonia, NC, Houston Messer of Gastonia, NC and Ruth Messer of Lincolnton, NC. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
