She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottie Mae Cothran and Thomas Dixon Bates; and her siblings, Phyllis Porcher, Dixie Dormer and Robert Cothran.
She is survived by: her stepfather John C. Cothran; her children, David Mark Sartre, Phyllis Hutchinson (Michael) and Tracy Sartre (Scott); her grandchildren, Aubree (Chance), Haley (Josh) and Michael, Jr.; her great grandchild Giuliana; and her siblings, Carolyn Tillman, Joanne Hudson and John Cothran.
