Ruth Moore Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Moore (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ross Burgess, Sr. and Millie Mae Settlemyre Burgess; her husbands, John Allen Vay (Jack) and William Robert Moore (Bill); her siblings, Mary Lila Burgess Moore, Mamie Juanita Burgess Thrower, Patsy Mae Burgess Walker, William Oscar Burgess, Ellis Floyd Burgess and Francis Richard Burgess; and her great grandchild Margo.
She is survived by: her son Allen Lee Vay (Sarah) of Michigan; her grandchildren, Hunter and Foster; and her brothers, John Ross Burgess, Jr. and Donald Hugh Burgess (Jan). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
