She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Utterback and Rosa Lena Haymaker Utterback; her husband Virgil Haymond Mitchell; and her children, Michael Stevens Mitchell and Donna Jean Hill.

She is survived by: her grandson Brian Hill.
