She was predeceased by: her husband John W. Balfour; and her son Bruce Balfour. She is survived by: her children, John Balfour (Judy) of Rock Hill, Bonnie Schaeffer (Erik) of Chesapeake, VA and Cindy Balfour of Portsmith, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Mrs. Balfour's name.
