He was predeceased by: his wife Josie Harris; and his daughter-in-law Jean. He is survived by: his children, Karen Rice (Paul), Joe Goodwin (Brenda Perry), Mary Sturgis and Jeri Hammett (Thomas); and his sisters, Sue Raney and Betty Gulledge. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
