He was predeceased by: his mother Peggy Jean Dover; and his brother Robert "Cotton" Dover. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Thrift Allen; and his children, Jodie Cherry of Rock Hill, SC, Rebekah Allen of Rock Hill, SC and Christie Allen of Rock Hill, SC.
