He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodie S. Lankford and Ella Mae Bolick Lankford. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Dianne Craig Lankford; his children, Jeffery Scott Lankford (Susan) of Berthoud, CO, Craig Nivens of York, SC, Rhonda Carroll Lankford of Spindale, NC, Lisa Lankford Gainey (Jerome) of Gaffney, SC and Kelly Nivens Wenghofer (Brian); and his siblings, Joe Lankford of Myrtle Beach, SC, Johnny Lankford of Shelby, NC, Juanita Patterson of Shelby, NC and Jenelle Puckett of Weddington, NC. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
