He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Carter and Beatrice Carter (Fields); his son Roger Carter Jr.; his brothers, Aaron Carter and Jimmy Carter; his grandson Jeffery Drew Carter; and his sister Gladys Carter Carnes.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine H. Carter; his children, Pam Hicks (Carl), Wendy McCall, Donnie Moss (Jackie) and Keith Moss (Jennifer); his grandson Derek Carter; his brothers, David Carter (Cathy), Calvin Carter (Paulette) and Donald Carter (Phyllis); and his brother-in-law Jack Carnes. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Park – Cherry Road (620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the same location.
