He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis Emerick and Louise Heil Emerick; his wife Pauline L. Emerick; and his son Mark Emerick. He is survived by: his children, Jacob Emerick of Michigan and Irene B. Emerick of Orangeburg, SC; his grandchildren, Brian K. Emerick of York, SC and Erin C. Emerick; and his siblings, Donald G. Emerick of Kansas and Joyce E. Massin.
