It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Whitaker Kegley (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Cromona, Kentucky, who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Whitaker and Ethel Stapleton Whitaker. She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Ginny" Barnes (Daniel) of Rock Hill, Dr. Russ Kegley (Betty) of Greensboro, NC and Rob Kegley (Dee) of Rural Hall, NC; her grandchildren, Dr. Andrew Barnes (Holly) of Mt. Pleasant, Kyle Barnes, Alison Doron of Charlotte, Carrie Plank (Josh) of Blountville, TN and David Kegley of Reston, VA; her nephews, William Pulos of Alfred, NY and Robert Pulos (Sharon) of Cuba, NY; and her great-niece Kailey Pulos Hoang (Eric) of Centreville, VA.. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren.
