He is survived by: his son Robert L. Allen, III; his grandchildren, Tommy A. Palmer (Shelly), Wendy P. Caughey (Jeff), Hanna A. Ham (Bruce), Mary Catherine (Katie), Nikki A. McIsaac (Joe), English A. McCoughlum (Zach) and Silas J. Allen; his great grandchild Amber C. Edmonds (Josh); his grandchildren, Brett M. Bess (Amber), Bryson M. Bess, Knox, Josie McIsaac and Baxter M. Ham; his stepgreat-grandson V. Michael Dunn; his great great grandchild Aubree Edmonds; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lee Helms, Braelyn Clendinin and Brantley Bess.
