He was predeceased by: his son Bobby Funderburke; his sister Louise Funderburke Boatwright; his parents, Lucille Amerson Wingler and Henry Funderburke; and his parents-in-law, Edith Vipperman Hooper and Alvin Hooper.
He is survived by: his wife Vivian Hooper Funderburke; his daughters, Lisa F. Debruhl (Trace) of Lugoff and Joy F. Brooks (Ashley) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Lutterloah, Kelly Funderburke, Edi Brooks and Brennan Brooks.
