He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Gay and Wilma Gay (Pate); his wife Nancy Gallop; his siblings, Walter Jr., Billy, Ronnie and Mary; and his daughter Janine.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Lesso (Steve) and Charlotte Johnson (Sonny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
