He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos John Mercer and Heide Mercer; and his brothers, Ricky Mercer, Greg Dyches and Ray Dyches.
He is survived by: his wife Leah Simpson Mercer; his daughters, Gracen Mercer and Katie Ann Mercer; his stepmother Barbara Mercer of Catawba; his siblings, Phil Dyches of Catawba, Lori Haskett of Ft. Mill and Deanna Mercer of Catawba; and his sister-in-law Pam Mercer of Rock Hill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Bobby's name to Mt. Holly United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1996 Mt. Holly Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
